Welcome to our French course for Families!
We regularly get requests from families who have bought a house in France, are planning a family holiday or are relocating their whole family to France. We can help prepare your holiday or your move to France with lessons that mix language learning and an introduction to French culture.
If you have children under the age of 15, we recommend that they learn separately to ensure that lessons are adapted to their age.
Course details:
The most popular format is where your French tutor comes to your home for a 1.5 or 2-hour session divided into a 1-hour session for the adults and children over 15 and shorter sessions for younger children – we will advise you on how best to group children by age.
The aim of the course is to ensure you and your family are able to deal with daily life situations such as:
- Housing and amenities
- Travel and transport
- School system
- Local government and law enforcement agencies
- Currency and prices
- Shops and shopping for supplies
- Clothing
- Food, recipes and measures
Your french tutor will adapt the course content to suit your project, whether it is going on holiday, buying a house abroad or relocating to France.

Small Group (Up to 5 family members &/or friends): £45 per hour
