A quelle heure ouvrent les magasins en ville ? At what time do the shops open in town?	En général ils ouvrent à neuf heures. In general they open at nine o'clock.
Est-ce qu'ils ferment à midi? Do they shut at midday?	Quelquefois les petites boutiques ferment à midi. Sometimes the small shops shut at midday.
A quelle heure ferment les magasins le soir? At what time do the shops shut in the evening?	Ils ferment à cinq heures et demie. They shut at 5.30. Les supermarchés ferment à huit du soir en général. The supermarkets shut at eight in the evening. Les magasins du coin ferment très tard. The corner shops shut very late
Quels jours sont -ils ouverts? Which days are shops open?	Ils sont ouverts tous les jours en Angleterre, même le dimanche de dix heures et demie jusqu'à quatre heures et demie. They are open every day in England even Sunday, from 10.30 until 4.30
Ils ne ferment pas en semaine? Do they not shut in the week?	Non, les magasins sont ouverts toute la semaine. No, shops are open every day.
Et les banques? And the banks?	Les banques sont ouvertes du lundi au vendredi de neuf heures et demie jusqu'à cinq heures et certaines ouvrent le samedi matin. The banks are open from Monday to Friday from 9.30 til 4.30 and some open on Saturday morning.
