Sophie (Crawley)
I am a native French speaker and have recent successful experience in teaching French across the age and ability range. I have gained a wide range of experience teaching Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3 during my PGCE, specialising in Modern Foreign Languages. I observed and assisted teaching at Key Stage 4. I also gave private French lessons to adults.
Particular strengths that have been highlighted from observations of my teaching practice include excellent subject knowledge, an infectious enthusiasm for language, and a creative approach to teaching the curriculum incorporating drama, role play and games to the learning process.
